For the spring semester of 2015 I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to study abroad at NYU's Florence campus! As the semester went on, I felt more like a resident of Florence. It would be a regular part of my day to pass the Duomo, and some of my classes even met within the city.
One of NYU's global campuses, NYU Florence is about a 20 minute bus ride from Piazza San Marco. At the center of campus is a valley that you must walk down and then walk back up if you intend to go across campus. We called it the "Valley of Death"
